The GNC stores in Regina are managed and staffed by some of the friendliest people west of the Maritimes.  They made me feel right at home during my visits.  These are the stores to stop into while in Regina.

I had a phenomional training session this Sunday at Gold’s Gym in Regina, SK.  Nestled inside is a Sangster’s store where the manager, Derek, is eager to share his vast knowledge of nutrition and training.  Derek has a formal education on such matters as well as a personal training degree so he knows his stuff.

Jim and family have owned Universal Fitness for over 12 years.  It’s a great gym complete with pro shop.  The place was rockin’ when I passed through at 6PM on Saturday night.  Definitely a good spot that caters to both the hardcore and to those looking to improve their general health.

When in Calgary, I visited a few of the GNC stores.  With some of the most educated and highly regarded managers in the biz, you can rest assured of getting good, solid advice that will help you acheive your goal – no matter what it is.

Dorian is the owner of Juice Monkey, a one stop shop for shakes, supplements, and meals.  He has two locations, one downtown and one on the Macleod Trail.  Dorian served me up his chicken dish and it was fantastic!
